Since 1971, Acadian’s highly-skilled medics have provided compassionate care for over 5 million patients who have been transported by our reliable fleet of ground, helicopter, and fixed-wing ambulances. In hundreds of communities, the men and woman of Acadian Ambulance Service are trusted as the emergency medical services' (EMS) lead agency, responding to hundreds of thousands of 911 calls every year.

Acadian’s emergency medical response team provides innovative care and technology, including:

Critical Care Transport
Acadian Ambulance Service's Critical Care Transport (CCT) program provides a higher level of patient care for the most critically sick or injured patients being transported from hospital to hospital. Acadian's CCT-designated ambulances are equipped and staffed as mobile intensive care units.

Staffed with specially-trained paramedics, Acadian’s CCT ambulances are complemented with a full pharmacy, advanced ventilatory equipment, and the capability for full invasive hemodynamic monitoring.
