The AMS-GT4 takes GPS tracking to the next level. While the unit is a robust GPS device, it offers added features that add safety measurements and advantages. The unit has a built-in accelerometer to measure driver behavior, such as harsh braking, and an in-cab buzzer to alert drivers to speed violations for immediate correction. The AMS-GT4 includes a built-in 102 minute memory that allows for accident recreation and analysis. Specific driver identification is also a unique feature of the AMS-GT4 with the use of optional key fobs. GPS tracking is more detailed with the AMS-GT4’s unique “smart algorithm” that provides more data points when needed. The system also has versatility of combining live and passive data collection to save money on monthly fees. In addition, the AMS-GT4 ties into the vehicle’s OBD, J1939 or J1708 port to collect precise engine measurements to assist with preventive maintenance and vehicle longevity. Combined with our commercial mobile monitoring portal, subscribers can manage and view the location of any or all vehicles in a fleet, run a variety of valuable reports, and even manage vehicle maintenance alerts.
